What data we process and why
Requests from the «Tell us the problem» form
Name, company or public body, contact (email or phone), the text of your request and, if you provide it, who told you about us. We use them only to reply to your request and, if you wish, to prepare an offer.
- Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Retention: for as long as needed to follow up on the request; if no contract follows, no longer than 12 months.
Customer area
Customer code and password for access, and the contract data the customer area shows you (services, invoices). To limit unauthorised access attempts, the IP address you sign in from is used for a few minutes and is not stored.
- Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- Retention: for the duration of the contract and then for the periods required by law (for example tax obligations).
Browsing data
Like any website, the servers hosting it record technical data about visits (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser), used only for the operation and security of the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Who receives the data
- Aruba S.p.A., which hosts the website and email, as data processor.
- Google: to display the fonts, your browser downloads them from Google Fonts servers, which receive the visitor's IP address. Google Fonts does not set cookies. The transfer to the United States takes place under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- OpenStreetMap: in the restricted pages of the IT-NetCOM service, the map of the devices downloads the map images from the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which receive the visitor's IP address and the address of our site. OpenStreetMap does not set cookies.
We do not sell or pass on data to third parties for commercial purposes, and we do not use it for profiling.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and object to processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR), by writing to info@italyadsl.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
