Telemetry over LoRaWAN

IT-NetCOM is the ItalyADSL service for monitoring and controlling plants and sensors remotely: weather stations, meters and relays, available from a reserved area on our website.

How it works.

Devices installed in the field send their measurements by radio to the gateways of our LoRaWAN network, a technology designed to cover long distances with very low power consumption. The data is collected by our server and made available in the reserved area; commands follow the reverse path.

What can be connected.

The service handles devices from different manufacturers on the same network and presents them in a single interface.

01

Weather stations

They measure the environmental parameters of the site and transmit them at regular intervals.

02

Meters

Readings and consumption available without site visits.

03

Relays

They switch a load on and off remotely, with confirmation that the command was carried out.

What the reserved area offers.

  • Readings and charts

The latest values measured by each device and the trend of every quantity over time.

  • Map

The position of the devices on the territory and the status of each one.

  • Alarms

Alarm rules on the measurements, with e-mail notification to the designated recipients.

  • Commands

Every command requires confirmation and is tracked to its outcome, with a history of the commands sent.

  • Data export

Measurements can be downloaded as CSV, for use in spreadsheets and other systems.

  • Users and security

Administrator, operator and read-only profiles for your staff; access protected by a second authentication factor.

How the service is activated.

01

Requirements analysis

Together we define what to measure or control, and at which sites.

02

Survey and connection

We check radio coverage and connect the devices to the network.

03
